With almost 17,000 plugins available how are we supposed to find which ones are best? Never fear! Mr Gibson is here with his list of recommended WordPress plugins!

Plugins extend and expand the functionality of WordPress. They can virtually turn your WordPress blog into whatever you want it to be!

But I have chosen not to mention the plugins that turn your website into a magical genie that will make all of your wishes come true because that would be boring wouldn’t it.

My favorite is Yoast, I switched from All In One SEO Pack a few months ago.

Thanks for sharing this cool list of your favorite plugins. I already use SEO by Yoast, plus a couple of others that you mentioned. However, you also showed a couple I will definitely check out. This is a very helpful since there are so many possibilities, as you mentioned there are over 17,000 plugins!

I normally recommend WordPress SEO by Yoast, rather than All In One SEO Pack due to the fact that AIOSP has a . Broken Link checker is definitely one that you can install, but only active when you use and then deactivate when done.

These plugins you mentioned in your video are nice. Some of them you can simply add a snippet of code of your theme, whether it be header or footer. However, not everyone is code savvy, so it is understandable for using ones that get the job done.

Others: Google XML Sitemaps and Feedburner Feedsmith are a couple of my favorite plugins to install.
